Accessibility Statement
Last Updated: July 17, 2026
1. Our Commitment
Brainstorm Buddie is committed to making our web and mobile applications accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across the Service.
2. What We’ve Done
- Semantic HTML landmarks (
<main>,<nav>,<header>) and a “Skip to content” link for keyboard users. - Visible focus indicators and keyboard operability for all interactive controls.
alttext on informative images; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.- Dialogs announce themselves with
role="dialog"and trap focus while open. - Form fields are programmatically labeled and associated with their inputs and error messages.
- The app does not disable pinch-to-zoom on mobile devices.
3. Known Limitations
We are actively working to improve accessibility. Some areas of the Service may not yet fully conform:
- Some older modals may not yet trap focus or restore it on close. We are migrating them to a shared accessible dialog primitive.
- Color contrast on some secondary captions and placeholder text may not meet the 4.5:1 threshold for body text. If you encounter unreadable text, please let us know.
- Generated reports, pitch decks, and marketing content are produced by AI and may occasionally include images without adequate alternative text. We are working on auto-captioning for these assets.
4. Technology We Rely On
The Service is built with Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS, and uses the Radix UI primitives and other ARIA-aware components for complex widgets. We test against the latest versions of major browsers and the NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver screen readers.
5. Feedback & Contact
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, or have suggestions for how we can improve, please contact us at support@brainstormbuddie.com. We aim to respond within two business days and to resolve confirmed issues as quickly as we can.
6. Third-Party Content
Some pages embed or link to third-party content (for example, stock media previews, payment forms, and social-platform previews). We cannot always control the accessibility of third-party content, but we will work with our partners to address issues that we become aware of.
